Our story
Publishing stories that matter
Zeus Books was founded on a simple belief: that the right book, in the right hands, at the right moment, can change everything. We are an independent publisher dedicated to discovering bold new voices and championing the kind of literary fiction that endures.
Our mission
Literature as a living thing
We believe books are not objects — they are conversations across time. Our mission is to publish work that challenges, moves, and stays with readers long after the final page. We seek out stories that are honest, ambitious, and impossible to ignore.
Independent spirit
We answer to our authors and our readers — no one else. Our independence lets us take risks on the books that matter most.
Long-term thinking
We build relationships with authors for the long haul, nurturing careers rather than chasing trends.
Editorial excellence
Every manuscript we take on receives the full attention of our editorial team. We believe in the craft of editing as a collaborative art.
Community first
We are part of a broader literary community — bookshops, libraries, readers, writers — and we invest in that ecosystem.
How we began
Building a book store offering new authors a supportive site for their entrance into the market place
Zeus books started with an online site in Tennessee. Catering to new authors and giving them a chance to join our growing market. We offer a variety of product starting with Children's , non fiction, and fiction , we give authors a way to enter and grow in a welcoming site.
